Laurel of Langley Highland Pony Society Breed Show Champion 2004
We are a small stud based in North Yorkshire. The first Highland Pony to arrive at the stud was in 1983, her name was Birthwaite Merry Maid. Merry was by Cuidich'M of New Calgary and out of Rosealie of Knocknagael. The first first foal to be born at the stud was in 1984, he was Hamish of Langley who was out of Merry and by Swintondene.
We breed a few foals a year and our aim is to breed true to type, active Highland Ponies, with good temperaments that excel in many different spheres. Our homebred ponies still carry Department bloodlines.
